The Episcopal Church Welcomes You!

The Episcopal Church strives to live by the message of Christ, in which there are no outcasts and all are welcome. Walking a middle way between Roman Catholicism and Protestant traditions, we are a sacramental and worship-oriented church that promotes thoughtful debate about what God is calling us to do and be, as followers of Christ. Coming Special Events

The Martyrs Men's softball team has started its season, competing on Thursday evenings at the LaVista Sports Complex, Field #4.  The next scheduled game is July 2nd - 8:30PM.  All men are welcome to play.   For a full schedule click "Learn More" at the bottom of this section.

Join us on Sunday, July26th for a Pancake Breakfast benefiting St. Martha's.  We will offer buttermilk, blueberry or chocolate chip pancakes served with sausage, juice and coffee.  Donations will be accepted.

The American Red Cross Blood Mobile will be at St. Martha's on Wednesday, July 29th.  Mark your calendars and plan to donate blood.  There is always a need in the summer for blood because vacations and other conflicts reduce the number of donors.  Call the church office for details.

Hold Sunday, August 30th 10AM-6PM for the St. Martha's Picnic and outdoor Worship at Halleck Park, Papillion!  We will have one Worship Service that day at 11:30AM at the Park.  Bring Potluck items, food to grill, games and energy for good fellowship and fun.

Millennium Development Goals

The MDGs represent a global partnership that has grown from the commitments and targets established at the world summits of the 1990s. Responding to the world's main development challenges and to the calls of civil society, the MDGs promote poverty reduction, education, maternal health, gender equality, and aim at combating child mortality, AIDS and other diseases.
